Year 7 - 12 STEM

What is STEM?

Did you know that STEM is a way of using your skills and knowledge to design and create things to help people? Most people know that STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, but how does it all fit together and how does it work?

When you are working on a STEM project, you use skills and knowledge from mathematics, science, technology and a design process to come up with creative solutions to problems. STEM is hands-on and can be done in many different fields like electronics, robots, technology, design, food, sports, music and construction to name a few.

How do I know if STEM is for me?

If you’re someone who likes asking questions or have a good imagination, STEM is for you.

If you’re creativity and can think outside the box, STEM is for you.

If you are good at working well with others to solve problems, STEM is for you.
